Walking Tennis – Fridays, 10-11:00

£6 per session, to include a free tea / coffee afterwards.

Walking Tennis is a gentle and inclusive way for a variety of people to play, including those with injuries, differently-abled players and seniors. The courts are smaller, equipment is modified and two bounces are permitted. Walking Tennis is great for people who would like to get more active and is a very sociable sport. Stay for a cuppa afterwards!

Please note that there will be no session on Friday 26th December, nor on 2nd January.

Cardio Tennis – Fridays, 09-09:45

 A high-energy, fitness-focused workout that uses tennis drills and games to get your heart rate up and burn calories. Cardio tennis is a group activity for all skill levels. The focus is on movement and exercise rather than perfect technique. Session involve a warm-up, some fast-paced drills, and a game. Perfect for straight after the school run!

First session free, then £5 per session thereafter

New Forest Inter-School Competitions

A wonderful annual event that sees schools from across the New Forest School Sports Partnership area competing to be crowned champions. There are lots of existing tennis players that take part, but also many that only play in the school environment. Everyone should be very proud that they represent their school at tennis! The events take place as follows:

Year 3/4 (NE region) – 22nd April 2026, 12-15:30

KS1 – 12th May 2026, 12:30-14:30

13U – 10th June 2026, 12-15:30

15U – 11th June 2026, 12-15:30

Year 5/6 – 18th June 2026, 11:30-15:30

Year 3/4 (Finals) – 2nd July 2026, 12:30-15:30

10U Matchplay (Grade 7 – internal)

Saturday 6th June, 13:00 start

A great opportunity for green players in our coaching programme to play their first matchplay tournament. The event is not open to children from other clubs. The format will be round robin and the players will get lots of short matches, with no overall winner at the end. All results will count towards the player’s World Tennis Number, which is a great way to track competitive progress. All entrants will need to be LTA Advantage Members.

10U players will be born in 2016 or 2017

Monday Matchplays (ages 11+), 10-15:00 – singles and doubles matches in a relaxed environment

Monday Fun Days (ages 5-10), 10-12:00 – lots of fun tennis-themed games

These sessions are only for children who are currently playing in our regular termtime programme. Booking links are sent directly to participants, or are available via our ThinkSmart coaching app.

Summer Mix-In and Barbeque – 31st August, 10:00-14:00

Members are invited to come along to a friendly mix-in, followed by a barbeque lunch.
