School holidays tennis camps

School Holidays

The Totton & Eling Tennis Centre offers a range of activities during the school holidays, predominantly focussed on enhancing the activity of regular attendees in our year-round coaching programme.  Opportunities include matchplay competitions, challenge festivals, coaching clinics, fun days and leadership courses.

We offer “learn to compete” festivals and matchplay events at the end of most half-terms, allowing the children in our programme to develop their understanding of competition. This also helps our coaches to assess the key areas of focus for the next half-term’s coaching sessions. We also host an annual Play Your Way to Wimbledon competition for young people aged 11-14.

From time-to-time, we also offer coaching clinics on specific technical areas, allowing our coaching team to take a “deep dive” into a specific stroke, e.g. the serve.

During the longer holidays, we often offer fun days, playing all of the games that the children love, but which we do not have time to play during the regular coaching weeks.

Finally, we are delighted to offer leadership opportunities to young people, with at least one Tennis Leaders course per year available to participants in our coaching programme.

We have a clubroom available as backup in cases of poor weather and offer a safe, professional environment to give parents peace of mind.

Online booking is generally available for all holiday sessions.
