School Holidays
The Totton & Eling Tennis Centre offers a range of activities during the school holidays, predominantly focussed on enhancing the activity of regular attendees in our year-round coaching programme.
Summer Holidays 2026
Open to children within our regular termtime coaching programme, we are offering the following opportunities this summer:
- Monday Fun Days (ages 5-11); 10-12:00 – Lots of fun games that the children absolutely love (and that we don’t generally have time for in the regular groups)
- Monday Match Play (ages 11+); 10-15:00 – Relaxed singles and doubles matches, giving players the chance to try things out and to experience different formats
- Monday 27th July, 3rd and 10th August
- Booking is made online via the link sent out by email to all participants. Please request directly if you need it again
For children not currently in our coaching programme, we are offering free taster sessions on Monday 27th July, 3rd and 10th August (09-09:45). Please contact us to book
Free Tennis Fridays, school holidays, 12:00-16:00
On most Fridays during the school holidays, everyone is welcome to come along and use a court for free, with racquets and equipment available to borrow. Please note that depending on demand, there may be a short wait for an available court, but the café will be open. We will operate a fair usage policy of one hour, however, if there is availability beyond that, players will be welcome to stay longer. No booking is required as this is just a turn-up event.

General Information
We offer lots of different opportunities to children within our regular coaching programme, including:
- “learn to compete” festivals and matchplay events
- Team Tennis – singles and doubles events played as a team or 2 or 4
- coaching clinics on specific technical areas, allowing our coaching team to take a “deep dive” into a specific stroke
- fun days, playing all of the games that the children love, but which we do not have time to play during the regular coaching weeks
- leadership opportunities to young people, with at least one Tennis Leaders course per year available to participants in our coaching programme.
We have a clubroom available as backup in cases of poor weather and offer a safe, professional environment to give parents peace of mind.
Online booking via our Customer Portal / app is generally available for all holiday sessions.
